I live in Boulder and the Cornerstone team manages my rental in Colorado Springs. At first I was leery of this long distance relationship, but Scott and Saul have made this extremely simple for me. I rarely have to drive down there; they take care of everything for me in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner. All this for a reasonable fee. With the dynamic rental market there, they do a great job getting the place re-leased with little to no vacant months. Jeb Brewster recently did an awesome job getting the house leased at a better rate with no space between renters (something I always worry about in the winter). The Cornerstone team has my full confidence, and I would recommend them to anyone who wants to remove the headaches of managing rental properties.

I would like to acknowledge Saul Levy with the Cornerstone team. I tried to manage my own property for several years by myself. It became very frustrating, especially from out of state. I had tenants in my property that did not have any financial issues, however they just neglected to pay the rent, and were continually late. Saul was referred to me from a friend. He quickly took control of the lease and tenants. They paid on time for the next five months. Then, same scenario, no rent. Saul went through all the steps, finally ended up as a judgment against them. Saul was persistent, calling and emailing the tenants, as to inform them as there upcoming eviction. Saul stood firm with the tenants advising them to move, they tried to negotiate the past due rent and wanted to stay in the home. I was prepared to just pay the mortgage, and get them out, Saul advised them they could stay if they prepare the rest of the lease. Well that evening he went to the home, and they gave him a cashiers check for the balance of the lease plus past 2 months rent, late fees and attorney fees , (which is well over 15k ) !
This also allowed him to see the home and take pictures. Everything turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I couldn’t have done this without him! Thank you, Saul!

My name is Ross Mitchell and my property was 7095 Ancestra Dr, Fountain Colorado. Scott Gray was my neighbor and a very great friend. My house had been on the market for two years with Acquire Homes and had very little activity. I turned my house over to Scott and Bernie from Cornerstone Realty in Jan of 2012 and I almost immediately had results.
Cornerstone placed a renter in there till the sale and that was a good feeling to know someone was in there and taking care of the property rather than letting it go to garbage such as had happened with the other realtor. I want to say that Bernie McDonald was always there for me via phone to answer all my questions and to just listen to me complain about Bank of America and how they conduct business as well as treating the little guy. Bernie accepted phone calls from me at all times of the day and on weekends when I had concerns with my property, He is always polite, respectful and very helpful. Bernie walked me through all the paper work steps that were needed to progress with the short sale and finally represented us on the closing date, I honestly could keep praising him for all his hard work.

I wanted to thank Saul and the team for keeping our property looking good and well taken care of. We live in California but recently came back to CO to see friends. Myself and my husband have been extremely happy with Scott Gray and Cornerstone Property Management. We were displaced as a result of the Waldo Canyon Fire and Scott immediately contacted us to see how he could help. We struggled to find a rental home that would work for us and our pets while our home is being rebuilt. I wanted to let you know how well Lance Kohler helped me with renting of my house. He has been very responsive to my emails, calls, and texts in status and answering questions. On our initial visit he walked around the property and provided comps on surrounding properties and talked about what rent payment I might be able to get for the property. He walked me through the contract and made sure to answer any questions I had on the form, process, etc… He has worked very hard to obtain a tenant in a very quick time, almost too quickly since I wasn’t even moved out of the house yet . He provided all of the forms and processes I needed as well as walked me through the insurance items I needed to take care of with my agent to move the house to a rental status.
I really can’t say enough about Lance. He has made this entire process so smooth and easy to do with the stress of moving and all of the items that go along with that. He has gone over the top with his service and in making sure the house is ready for the tenants to move in on the date they wanted it. Again, it was a very quick turnaround since I moved out just three days prior to them moving in and since I am out of state he did a lot to help me with this transition.

I have always managed my own rentals. I never felt comfortable allowing someone else to manage my properties. After all, they are my properties and I knew how to manage them better than anyone else. I would just like to say that since Cornerstone’s property managers took over the property management of Drakestone Townhomes from Fidelity Reality it has been much better. Before if something was broken or needed done around the apartment, it was like pulling teeth to get someone from Fidelity to take action. Scott, however, not only is very quick to get done what is needed, but he also has been doing many very needed improvements to the property. In addition, Scott always has the time to talk with anyone here in the complex and has, on a number of occasions, stopped by to pick up the rent in person as to save me the time of going to the office to drop it off.
