Lance Kohler » Owner and Managing Broker
Lance is the Owner and Managing Broker of the Cornerstone Real Estate Team. He retired from the U. S. Army in 2012, after a 20-year career as an Infantry Officer. Lance started in Property Management in 2008, managing his own investment property. Lance purchased the Cornerstone Real Estate Team property management business from its founder in 2015. Lance is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.
John Simons » Property Manager, Associate Broker
John has worked in different areas of real estate over the past sixteen years. He started his real estate career as a business broker, then transitioned to commercial real estate broker, working with both buyers and sellers. John has worked in property management since 2007, and manages both single family homes and multi-family properties for Cornerstone.
Ryan Petersen » New Accounts Specialist
Ryan Petersen retired from the Air Force after 22 years of service and is the proud father of two. He loves real estate and is a fellow real estate investor. His personal real estate portfolio has included Mobile Home Communities, multi-family properties, and single-family homes. As our New Accounts Manager, Ryan meets with property owners to answer any questions they may have regarding the array of property management services that Cornerstone can provide. From full-time investors to reluctant landlords, Ryan is happy to meet with property owners to discuss ways to get maximum returns on their real estate investments.
Timothy Schuchard » Assistant Property Manager
Tim has been a member of the Cornerstone Real Estate Team as an Assistant Property Manager since April 2016. He retired from the U.S. Army in February of 2016 after 23-year career as an Enlisted Armor Crewman. With the management skills he learned while serving in the military, he has learned to strike a balance between being responsive and amicable, while also professional and firm.

Dylan Nelson » Property Manager, Associate Broker
Dylan is property manager and associate broker with Cornerstone Real Estate Team. He is a Marquette University graduate who has been in property management since 2017. He brings a youthful eye to problems and incorporates technology when he can to optimize business for all parties. He is versed in both single family homes as well as multi-family residences. In his free time, he likes to mountain bike and go camping.
Abigail Rael » Property Manager, Associate Broker
Abigail joined the Cornerstone team in 2019 coming from a strong background in building and facilities operations management and member issue escalations in the fitness industry. Considered a "Jill-of-al-trades" by her family and friends, there is rarely a problem she can't solve.
Shayla Glore » Assistant Property Manager
Shayla has been a member of the Cornerstone Real Estate Team as an Assistant Property Manager since October 2018. Originally from Anchorage, Alaska, where she grew up following her families’ footsteps, she is a 3rd generation Property Manager. She is versed in both single-family homes as well as multi-family residences. Shayla is currently working towards continued education with the goal of obtaining her Colorado Real Estate license. Shayla is a member of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM) as well as the local Colorado Springs Chapter. Shayla resides in Manitou Springs and she enjoys camping, painting and traveling in her off time.

Harv exemplifies integrity, drive, dedication and personal service in every aspect of your real estate transaction. Harv grew up in Colorado and attended University of Colorado at Boulder; from there he served in the U.S. Army for over 26 years and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. Despite his travels, he and his family have always considered Colorado their home. Harv enjoys the flexibility of the Real Estate industry, but most importantly helping buyers and sellers navigate through the process of purchasing a home in Colorado Springs.
As a local homeowner for over 10 years he brings extensive knowledge of the area (schools, recreation, drive times and shopping). Bryan Gray retired from the US Air Force after serving 21 years. Most of that time was spent instructing Air Force student pilots and training future officers. During his career, he moved 14 times giving him an experienced perspective on the needs of both landlords and tenants. With a passion for serving others and for real estate, he can help you with your individual property needs.
Matt Yost » Administrative Assistant and IT
Matt has been working as an Administrative Assistant since the summer of 2020. He has a background in customer service, phone operation and basic IT. He works to ensure that the office workflow and software systems stay up to date and running smoothly. Matt enjoys spending his free time outdoors, hiking, playing Disc Golf or training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
