Can you hold a place before I apply?
We can typically hold a vacant unit for up to 2 weeks, with an approved application, deposit, and signed lease.
Do I pay first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my security deposit?
No. You pay the first month’s rent and security deposit.
How do I pay rent?
You have several options to pay rent. The most preferred option is to pay rent online, using the Tenant Portal on our website (www.callcornerstone.com). You can also pay in person, at our office, during business hours. You can also mail your rent payment to our office.
How old do you have to be to apply?
You must be at least 18 years old to apply.
I want to get a pet. What do I do?
Contact your property manager. You will need to pay a pet deposit and fill out a pet agreement.
I want to move out, but my roommate wants to stay. What do I do?
Contact your property manager.
Is the deposit refundable?
The security deposit is refundable at the end of your lease, if there are no damages or outstanding balances.
My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?
Provide your Notice To Vacate (NTV) at least 30 days in advance (of your lease end date). The NTV form is found in the Tenant Portal on our website.
Who is responsible for paying for repairs & maintenance requests?
Tenants are responsible to submit maintenance requests, online, through the Tenant Portal on our website. Repairs are charged to the responsible party, depending on the repair and cause.
Who needs a cosigner?
You will need a cosigner if you do not meet our minimum qualification criteria.
