Best Restaurants in Old Colorado City?

Are these the best restaurants in Old Colorado City? Perhaps. There's a lot of opinion that goes into that, but these are my family's favorite restaurants in Old Colorado City.

I'd like to note my family has gluten allergies, so most of what we trend to are gluten-free restaurants or those with gluten-free options and are allergy friendly.

The first one I want to cover today is Monse's Pupuseria. It's a Salvadoran restaurant. They do have a nice area for outdoor seating when it's nice weather. Homestyle food, 100% gluten-free pupusas and tostadas. My favorite is the spicy carnitas and cheese pupusas. Highly recommend it. Staff's great, food's excellent.

The second one I'd like to recommend for Old Colorado City is Jake and Telly's Greek Taverna. Greek fare, obviously. They do have patio seating for nice weather. They do take online reservations. My daughters both recommend the Jake sandwich, which is a grilled chicken breast, bacon, tomato, basil mayo, topped with melted provolone cheese on a toasted roll. We've gone there multiple times for my kids' birthdays. They like it a lot.

Third and last is Tapateria. This is a tapas restaurant, small plates, 100% gluten-free. They do accept reservations. They've got a nice patio out back. They have house-made sangria, which I recommend, and they have an extensive wine list. It's great for date night. My wife and I go there often when we get a chance to spend some time together.
